Rejection

Okay, so I got my first rejection. Reason for that? Apparently I am over qualified. All over the world, there is a fear from those who speak eloquently and have obtained their higher degrees and qualifications. There's a fear that a job was offered to those, perhaps one day those will replace them and reach higher positions before. So why offer the job to a graduate who will take their position and be promoted faster and payed higher, when local university graduates will work for less and won't 'steal' their jobs.

I don't mind what position I start at. I don't mind if I am underpaid at first. I want to start from scratch and work my way up the ladder with my own hard work. My friends say those work ethics do not exist nowadays, and that if you want to go places you must know 'people' and have an excess of vitamin 'wow'. Oh well.

In the meantime, I should be learning to drive.

On another note, I've discovered a great ice cream place, I mean, a Gelato place. Exotic flavors from Mangoes, to Banana& pineapple. But my absolute favorite is Kids chocolate. To me, that's the best chocolate ice cream I have tasted in the whole wide world.
