Reticuline

Reticuline is a precursor of opium alkaloids and is used as the byproduct to detect opium because it is not present in heroin and morphine. I had to give a talk about this back in 2005 and did a miserable job I guess simply because I didn't dig deep enough into its mass spectrums. I still don't get mass spectrometry.

Well, please meet Miss Reticuline (taken from another website and altered)
