It was a Monday and I stayed very late at work. That was okay because I am trying to occupy my life with useful things. I rushed to my Interior Design class, which is kinda cool for now. I am picking up on tips although not the kind that I hoped for.
I am now addicted to Chai Latte. I am aware of how fattening it is but it's too delicious especially during the winter.
And I finally skyped with Carlito, my long-lost friend. Life separated our paths only to bring us back at a time that I find pretty odd, but fitting. Carlito is so happy about the transformations that I am going through. Apparently, he saw it in me, I was an interesting girl with a tormented soul. He spoke a lot. Some of it made sense, but the rest of it was uncomfortable that I had to ignore it. He forgets that I am an Eastern female at the end of the day and I cannot just quit my job and explore the world without discussing it with my family first. Actually, I can but I am not brave enough yet and I am not sure this is the answer to my current tormented state. Life sure is funny, in its own way.
The One spoke to me for too long this time, and oddly enough I was tired and wanted to shut the phone. Maybe he was just speaking to me because I was chasing after his papers but I should accept him the way he was. This is The One, he has strengths and he had flaws. I love him for now and hope the future is very kind to me.
