Project Happiness: Day 82

Day 82 of this project coincided with a Saturday, the 3rd day of event. I attended it late because I simply needed to catch up on my sleep.

And later on, we dropped off my boss's crush at the airport.  Phew, I'm glad my car was somewhat clean.  Okay, so I adore my car very very very much, but I am dying to get a newer car, something more fitting with my growing status.  Can't wait.  Madre is the one stopping me from buying a new car until I finish off my loans, which makes alot of sense.  I'd hate to be so tight on cash like I was back in 2008.  Money-wise that year was horrible.

So we lunched quickly and I rushed to the mall to buy her gifts.  Phew, I am glad that I got her some amber earrings that looked very luxurious.

I then rushed to my Veil workshop in the shimmy class and that went great.

Everything was rush rush, so once again I rushed to meet the girls at Mezzanine.  L got me the 7 items I requested for The One.

I then left my car at mezzanine and hopped into M's ride.  Now M is a very outgoing Blondie who chirpy cheerful attitude rubs on to me when I'm with her.  I have noticed that I tend to act differently when I am around her.  I smile and laugh more often and am much more relaxed.  I should learn to loosen up a bit from her.

I suddenly felt very jealous when she started telling me all about her newest b/f, who happened to be from The One's city.  My heart kept screaming: that's not fair, not fair at all.  He even bought her a Tiffany's pendant for her birthday and from all that I heard he seemed to dote on her very much.  As much as I tried to be happy for her, something within me was very unsettled and kept shouting out: its so unfair.  What about me?  Why don't men fall for me and dote on me so much?  I don't get it.  Am I this un-lovable?  It makes no sense.  And if I am able to give out so much love and care to people, won't some of it reflect back on me?

We ended our day at the lake, walking, laughing, while ignoring all passers-by.  It was me, L, M and Sh.  We had the crappy burger which I will not go back to ever again.  It tasted foul with that garlic sauce.  I am so sorry but a burger should include a patty, tomato slice, cheese, lettuce, onion and some ketchup.  Anything else is an added bonus but nothing less than those ingredients should be in a burger.
