Day 84 coincided with Monday the 13th of December. It was a very busy day for me. We started packing in the office. There were boxes everywhere. And my back ached but I had to do it all by myself. You see, being the paranoid person that I am, I worry that nobody will do the job as well as I would, or actually, nobody would do the work the way I want them to do it. One thing I know I need to do is to loosen the reign and let people take some responsibility because they may surprise me.
I also went to my Interior Design class and that is not turning out as beneficial as I hoped it would be. We are working alot on AutoCad where I was hoping only to pick up pointers on creatively decorating one's home.
After class, I rushed to meet M and I sure did have fun. The food was good, actually the farafella pasta was very yummy. I enjoyed the evening with her friends the odd couple Sara and Neil, who are so in Love that it makes us all hope to get just a pinch of what they have.
So since I was very happy with the outing, I decided to invite everyone to an outing on the beach where I'd get them the famous chai with parathas. Can't wait.
On day 84, Happiness came to me in the form of strong frienships and social interactions.
_______________________________________Since I plan to re-decorate The One's bedroom, I will be focusing on bedroom designs in the next few weeks. I will also try to search the market for something that looks good.
Obviously British interiors. Very small space. This furniture would look better in a larger room. Perhaps had the bed been a single then it might have looked better. The window is not framed nicely. Very cute bedspread and fauteuil.
I am not too fond of wall murals. And those curtains do not allow much light. The carpet will absorb the light but will keep the room warm. I think the picture adds clutter to the room.
I hate black for a bedroom no matter how classy it may look. But I like the carpet right under the bed. I prefer beds with a statement headboard, and pattern always adds a nice touch.
Very masculine bedroom. Love the grey bed and fauteuil, it looks luxurious. I like the back glossy walls and the 2 side tables. However, I would have used different side lamps.
Great windows and it's wrong to cover them up. I like the carpet piece under the bed. I noticed that with brown furniture, the darker the tint the more it clashes with white walls. Some color should be added to this room to avoid being lost in it.
A feminine/motherly room. The patterned bed headboard is nice. 3 paintings add to the symmetry. I like the side tables and lamps. But perhaps a different shade of wood like white for the side tables. Good color of the walls and nice fauteuil. Also, good idea for wall cupboard storage. Pillows should always be mix and match and green clashes and adds life to a rather calm room.
A luxurious room, great symmetry and decor for a large space. The wallpaper adds a touch to a rather bland room. Nice large windows framed well. Good positioning for all the furniture. Nice mirror to add space on the chimney. luxurious carpet. Fauteuil also added.
In this room. I would have added the carpet right under the bed for the symmetry. Beautiful blueish side table. Different patterns for the carpet and the bedspreads. Paintings, vases, wooden furniture and straw chair add to the nautical feel.
I like this. The walls are a shade of brown and not totally white even though the headboard and windows are white. So it is okay that the furniture is dark brown. White and blue go well together and the side lamps with their silver are beautiful. Of course not a fauteuil but a table and the correct orchids and blue tea set match very well. The carpet appears soft and luxurious which goes well with it all.
Bed against a hard wall and a large mirror adds space to the room. Too much space allows good lighting in. A side painting attracts eyes. I would personally remove the orange bed sheets and pillow and use another colour. For a bedroom, I'd steer away from reddish warm colours.
Good symmetry. Totally white room can be feminine hence the added nude colors and very light browns. Very nice fauteuil for the room and attractive headboard. Mirror side tables and plants are nice. Closet inside the wall is great. Side low table with long plant is nice and the painting is famed yet not hidden. Good room but slightly feminine.
Totally white room doesn't work for everyone. And the lack of color does not give the room any boundaries. However, the large headboard is attractive had the colors of the bed or room been different. Also, such a headboard may look attractive but is definitely uncomfortable if used without lots of pillows.
I don't like the ceiling but everything else looks good. Middle bed with a carpet underneath, 2 side tables, a table instead of a fauteuil, beautiful wallpaper with large patterns fitting with the size of the room, good seating areas, excellent lighting from both windows and bulbs, and I love shelves that go inwards the wall. Maybe I'll use this as a basic sketch for The One's room.
Till we meet again,
Sedeso
