He chose her. She is lucky enough to be chosen and taken seriously.
I can feel a thin muscle squeeze and ache in my chest. What woman wouldn't want to be chosen, betrothed, serenaded, and told she is special enough. True a woman has to feel special enough for herself and by herself but who wouldn't want to feel extra special and chosen.
