Project Happiness: Day 48

Day 3 in B town was busy, very busy.

It started off with packing our suitcases, then another breakfast in Sanad's Starbucks.

The Abayas of Dar Najd were so beautiful but pricey range so I only bought one.

After the abayas, we passed to buy some traditional souvenirs and I was able to get cool gifts for myself, The Popper and The One and a few extras.

Walking in their city centre made me feel so weird, hate it, and feel like getting on the first plane back to my beloved city.

Then, sitting with her friend at Cafe Lilou's and having my last Palermo salad made me miss my home and my bed.  Everything was shouting out go home go home go home.  There is no place like home.

That was really enough. I realized that with the exception of traveling to be with The One, I did become homesick fairly quickly.  Me and M had enough of B town and decided that we love our own countrymen and appreciate them more.

Before heading to the airport, we passed by this exhibition with amazing fashion and abayas.  We had spent a lot by then and it wasn't wise to pay by card for the stuff.  So L promised to let us know about the next one.  I remember being stared at alot by all the women and being smiled at.  What's going on?  So why didn't The One admire me as much?  He may have but as usual, didn't show it well.

In the airport, we had dinner at their local Fast Food joint.  This is a habit I have developed every time I pass by their airport.
It rained alot while we sat in the airport during our flight delay.

Now guess who ended up being on the same flight back.  That old dude. Yes and he didn't take his eyes off me and I felt annoyed.

I was very cold in my silk top, feeling shy from the stares of the old man, trying to make eye contact with the dude from school and silently and deeply praying that my ultimate wish is fulfilled.

Before I slept, I bbéd him telling him that I was back.

What a weekend.  A much-needed vacation from my tears and sad frowning heart.  I slept, grateful for the opportunities that life brought to me.
